Registrar Lock is a safety feature that helps you prevent unauthorized domain transfers. By default, this feature is enabled for all your domains registered with us.

If you wish to transfer your domain from cloudean to another registrar, please follow the steps below on how to disable the Registrar-Lock on your domain.

This must be done before placing a transfer request with a new registrar.

How to enable/disable the Registrar-Lock on your domain
  1. Log in to your Client Area and visit Domains section.
  2. Locate the domain for which you’d like to enable, disable registrar lock option.
  3. Select Domains from the left-hand sidebar and click on the Manage Domain button next to your domain:
  4. Click the Registrar Lock link in the ‘Manage’ section
  5. Then you can change the registrar lock status to Enable/Disable

Once done, you will see a notification that your domain is currently unlocked and status will be changed to Enabled/Disabled.
